James Sara, DDS graduated from Rutgers University & Montclair State University with degrees in Psychology and Biochemistry. Afterward, he attended New York University College of Dentistry, where he graduated in 2019. After obtaining his DDS degree, he completed his residency at Jersey City Medical Center—a large trauma center in the nation's most diverse city—while on the front line of a global pandemic.
Arthur E. Kook, DMD has trained with prominent experts in sedation dentistry, making Oakland Dental Care a destination for patients who require sedation for dental procedures. Dr. Kook is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and a member of the International College of Oral Implantologists, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Crown Council.

James Sara, DDS is a graduate of the NYU College of Dentistry with advanced training in all areas of general dentistry. He has extensive experience in emergency triage, surgical procedures, cosmetic dentistry, and smile design, with a particular focus on the placement of dental implants. Dr. Sara is dedicated to helping patients restore both the function and appearance of their smiles through precise, long-lasting implant solutions.
As an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association, Dr. Sara stays at the forefront of modern dental techniques. He combines clinical expertise with a compassionate approach, ensuring every patient feels confident and comfortable in their care.
